Спортивно-оздоровительный центр

Спортивно-оздоровительный центр МГИМО расположен на территории Университета и включает в себя здание спорткомплекса (функционирует с 1983 года), здание бассейна (построено в 2003 году) и открытые спортсооружения.

В 2020 году была проведена масштабная реновация спортивных помещений Спортивно-оздоровительного центра МГИМО. Были полностью обновлены универсальный спортивный зал, зал единоборств, тренажерный зал и другие спортивные сооружения.

MGIMO students have plenty of opportunities to work out, as the University has a sports centre equipped with modern infrastructure.

Students can play football, mini-football, volleyball, basketball, tennis, badminton, table tennis, and practice shooting. There are several combat classes students can attend, as well as group fitness sessions.

Students can also use the gym, the tennis hall martial arts rooms as well as the sauna.

MGIMO boasts a swimming pool, which is one of the best in Moscow.

MGIMO has on campus an outdoor stadium weather is warm and includes a football field, jogging lanes, volleyball and basketball courts, outdoor tennis courts, and grounds for mini-football and other sports.

The pool and the gym are open every day from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. In the summertime from 8 a.m. to 22 p.m. Students can purchase a subscription to the gym with a 50% discount.

Since 2008, the Sports Center has held the MGIMO Olympic Games. They cover events such as running, long jump, chess, table tennis and swimming, shooting, along with team events including tug of war, mini-football and basketball. More than 300 people participate in the Games, including a large number of international students.
