- This multimedia manual is a printed version of the PowerPoint presentations of the lecture course designed to advance the students’ understanding of traditional formal logic as a universal tool of theoretical thought, an artificial language specially devised for and adapted to needs of theoretical discourse, including that of science. The course materials are arranged according to the traditional classification of forms of thought as concepts, propositions, and inferences. The manual was originally published in Russian in 2016. The textbook is designed for undergraduate foreign students of MGIMO University.
